Miller Moss (born March 19, 2002) is an Americancollege footballquarterback for theLouisville Cardinals. He previously played for theUSC Trojans.
Moss was born on March 19, 2002, inSanta Monica, California.[1][2] His father is architectEric Owen Moss, the founder ofCulver City-based Eric Owen Moss Architects.[3][4][2] His mother is a managing partner at the firm as well as a former architecture professor at theUniversity of Southern California (USC).[2][5] Moss attendedLoyola High School in Los Angeles, becoming the school's first freshman to start at quarterback. Moss later transferred toBishop Alemany High School inMission Hills, California. A four-star prospect, he committed to playcollege football at the University of Southern California.[6][7]

Moss played in two games his first year at USC in 2021 and took a redshirt.[8] In 2022 and 2023, he wasCaleb Williams's backup. After Williams sat out, Moss made his first start in the2023 Holiday Bowl against Louisville.[9][10] Moss led the Trojans to a 42–28 win and was named offensive MVP after throwing a Holiday Bowl-record six touchdowns.
Named the starter for the 2024 season, Moss led his team to aVegas Kickoff Classic win against theLSU Tigers, completing 27 of 36 passes for 378 yards and a touchdown.[11] He started for the first nine games of the season, throwing for 2,555 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He was replaced as starting quarterback byJayden Maiava following a loss toWashington where Moss threw threepicks in a 26-21 loss.[12] He entered thetransfer portal at the conclusion of the 2024 regular season.
On December 14, 2024, Moss committed to theLouisville Cardinals.[13]

Moss is the son of Los Angeles-based architectEric Owen Moss and Emily Kovner Moss.[14]
