Tolosa Milkesa Mengesha (born 16 April 2000) is anEthiopian track and field athlete.[1]

Career

Mengesha won gold in the2019 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Junior men's race inAarhus.[2]

In June 21 he shaved 27 seconds off his personal best in the5000m going from 13:25.74 to 12:58.28 as he finished third in the Ethiopian Olympic trials behindNibret Melak andGetnet Wale and secured his place at the delayed2020 Tokyo Olympics.[3]

In September 2024, he won theBerlin Marathon with a personal record time of 2:03:17.[4][5]
