TractateMiqwaʾoth (Hebrew: מקואות, lit. "Pools of Water"; in Talmudic Hebrew:Miqwaʾoth) is a section of theMishna discussing the laws pertaining to the building and maintenance of amikvah, a Jewish ritual bath. Like most ofSeder Tohorot, Mikva'ot is present only in itsmishnaic form and has no accompanyinggemara in either theBabylonian orJerusalem Talmud. It contains 10 chapters, with 83 paragraphs total.[1]
