Michael Anthony Pitts (September 25, 1960 – November 4, 2021) was an American professionalfootball player who was adefensive end in theNational Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He playedcollege football for theUniversity of Alabama, and was recognized as anAll-American. He was selected in the first round of the1983 NFL draft, and played professionally for theAtlanta Falcons,Philadelphia Eagles, andNew England Patriots of the NFL.[1]
