Michaela Curtis (born 21 October 1993) is afield hockey player from New Zealand.[1]
In 2010, Curtis was a member of the New Zealand Under 18 team at the2010 Summer Youth Olympics inSingapore.[2] This was the first edition offield hockey at theSummer Youth Olympics, where the New Zealand team won bronze. Curtis scored the winning goal, ingolden goal extra time, to defeatSouth Korea 5–4.[3]
Curtis once again represented New Zealand at a junior level in 2013, at theJunior World Cup inMönchengladbach. The New Zealand Under 21 team finished in 9th place, defeating hostsGermany 2–1 in the ninth place playoff, with Curtis scoring a field goal in the 6th minute.[4]
Curtis was born inPalmerston North, New Zealand,[5] and made her senior international debut in a four nations tournament in 2013.[6]
