Michael Jackman, also known asMichael A. Jackman andMike Jackman, is an American film and television producer. He has produced films such asThe Good Nurse (2022),Greyhound (2020),Arrival (2016),Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), and more.[1] Throughout his career, he has worked with directors such asMartin Scorsese andDenis Villeneuve.[2] He recently served as producer on the 2024 psychological thriller filmConclave, based onthe 2016 novel byRobert Harris and directed byEdward Berger.[3]

Early life and education

Jackman graduated from theUniversity of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1985.[4]

Jackman worked in partnership with Jason Alexander on projects such as the Agent Cody Banks films forTwentieth Century Fox andMGM.[5] Jackman also oversaw the development of the post-production facilityDeluxe Entertainment in New York City, and served as Senior Vice President of post-production atThe Weinstein Company.[6][1]

Michael recently served as Executive Vice President of Physical Production and Post atFilmNation Entertainment. Notable credits during Jackman's tenure includescience fiction drama filmArrival, Americanwar filmGreyhound, and Americanthriller filmThe Good Nurse.[1]

Jackman's most recent project with FilmNation Entertainment was as producer of the filmConclave, which is directed by Edward Berger and theatrically released in the United States byFocus Features on October 25, 2024.[3] Before its U.S. theatrical release, the film had its world premiere at the 51stTelluride Film Festival.[7] The film was shown at additional film festivals, having its international premiere at theToronto International Film Festival and its West Coast premiere at the 47thMill Valley Film Festival.[8][9]

Upcoming projects

In October 2024, it was announced Jackman would serve as executive producer ofBoots Riley's upcoming filmI Love Boosters, starringKeke Palmer,Demi Moore, andLaKeith Stanfield.[10]Principal photography began on November 7, 2024, inAtlanta.[11]
