Michael Hsu Rosen is an American actor and dancer best known for his roles as Jayden and Nabil in theNetflix seriesPretty Smart andTiny Pretty Things, respectively. Rosen also starred in theBroadway revivals ofTorch Song andWest Side Story.

Rosen was born and raised in New York City on theUpper West Side.^[1] He attendedEthical Culture Fieldston School, as well as theProfessional Children's School. He trained for nine years at theSchool of American Ballet and matriculated atYale University before withdrawing to pursue acting full-time.^[2]

While in high school, Rosen performed with theNew York City Ballet and made hisBroadway debut at seventeen in the 2009 revival ofWest Side Story.^[3] He later returned to Broadway in revivals ofOn the Town andHarvey Fierstein'sTorch Song.^[4][5][6]

Rosen has guest starred in such television shows asJessica Jones,Monsterland, andThe Good Doctor as well as earned main roles in Netflix'sTiny Pretty Things andPretty Smart.^{[7][8][9][10]}
