Methylstenbolone, known by the nicknamesM-Sten,Methyl-Sten, andUltradrol, is asynthetic andorally activeanabolic–androgenic steroid (AAS) and a17α-methylatedderivative ofdihydrotestosterone (DHT) which was never introduced formedical use.[1][2][3] It is adesigner steroid and has been sold via theinternet marketed as adietary/nutritional supplement.[1][2][3]
Methylstenbolone, also known as2,17α-dimethyl-δ1-4,5α-dihydrotestosterone (2,17α-dimethyl-δ1-DHT) or as2,17α-dimethyl-5α-androst-1-en-17β-ol-3-one, is asyntheticandrostanesteroid and a17α-alkylatedderivative of DHT. It is the 17α-methylated derivative ofstenbolone, as well as the δ1-isomer ofmethasterone (2α,17α-dimethyl-DHT). Related AAS includemestanolone andmethyl-1-testosterone.
