Methoxypiperamide (also known asMeOP andMEXP) is apsychoactive drug of thepiperazine class that has been sold online as adesigner drug.[1][2] It is the 4-methoxy-α-ketoanalog ofmethylbenzylpiperazine.
Very little data exists about the pharmacology and toxicity of methoxypiperamide; however, the US state of Vermont classifies it as ahallucinogen.
Methoxypiperamide is a controlled substance in Vermont as of January 2016,[3] and also in Hungary.[4]
