Metalasia confusa is a flowering subshrub that is part of theAsteraceae family.[1] The species is endemic to theWestern Cape and occurs from theKogelberg toKleinmond. It grows from 500 - 1300 m and is part of thefynbos. The largest part of the species' habitat is in protected areas.[2][1]
