Anatomical terminology

Themesometrium is themesentery of theuterus. It constitutes the majority of thebroad ligament of the uterus,[1] excluding only the portions adjacent to theuterine tube (the mesosalpinx) andovary (themesovarium).

It is adjacent to themesosalpinx.

Theureter is among the structures found in the mesometrium.
