Merey is anAfro-Asiatic language spoken in northernCameroon. Dugur is a dialect.[1]

The Merey [meri] (10,000 speakers) live in the Méri massif, located immediately west of the town ofMéri (Méri canton, Méri commune,Diamaré department, Far North region).[2]
