Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (MSVMC), was the firsthospital inToledo, Ohio and is part ofMercy Health Partners.
Established in 1855, St. Vincent is part of Mercy Health, which includes seven hospitals servingNorthwest Ohio andSoutheast Michigan. It is a critical-care regional referral and teaching center, with focus on high-risk mothers and infants,[1]substance abuse,[2] andchronic care,[3] along with being a Level ITrauma Center for children & adults, and is an accredited Chest Pain Center.[4] They also offerspiritual care for admitted patients.[5]
In collaboration withThe University of Toledo Medical Center andSt. Rita's Medical Center, the hospital operates both helicopterair-ambulances and ground-based critical care ambulances.[6]
