Melanie Wegling (born 7 January 1990)[1] is a German politician of theSocial Democratic Party (SPD).[2]

Political career

Wegling became a member of theBundestag in the2021 German federal election, representing the constituency ofGroß-Gerau.[3] In parliament, she has since been serving on the Finance Committee.[4]

Within her parliamentary group, Welling belongs to theParliamentary Left, a left-wing movement.[5]
