Melanau is anAustronesian language spoken in the coastal area of theRajang delta on northwest Borneo,Sarawak,Malaysia andBrunei. There are several dialects—Mukah-Oya, Balingian, Bruit, Dalat, Lawas, Igan, Sarikei, Segahan, Prehan, Segalang, and Siteng.[2]
