Meir Heath Cricket Club is acricket club and ground inMeir Heath,Staffordshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1991, whenStaffordshire playedShropshire in the grounds onlyMCCA Knockout Trophy match.[1] In 1992, it held its firstMinor Counties Championship match which saw Staffordshire playSuffolk. The following year, the ground held its second and to date final Minor Counties Championship match, which was between Staffordshire andLincolnshire.[2]
The ground has also held a singleWomen's One Day International between theNetherlands women andWest Indies women in the1993 Women's Cricket World Cup.[3]
In local domestic cricket, Meir Heath Cricket Club use the ground as their home venue.[4]
