TheMeintangk people are anAboriginal Australian people of south-easternSouth Australia, often classified as a subgroup of theNgarrindjeri people.

According to ethnologistNorman Tindale's 1974 work, Meintangk land extended across an estimated 1,500 sq mi (3,900 km2). It stretched fromLacepede Bay, northwards some 12 miles (19 km) fromKingston to the Granite Rock. To the south its coastal boundaries lay onCape Jaffa and inland eastwards toLucindale, Blackford,Keilira, andNaracoorte. The inland territory fromLake Hawdon to Mosquito Creek also formed part of their land.[1]

The Meintangk comprised at least sevengroups. Among these were the Paintjunga who were located atPenola.[1]
