Mehmet Güney (3 May 1936 – 24 April 2024[1]) was an internationaljudge and a Turkish diplomat.
Between 1954 and 1959, Mehmet Güney studied at the faculty of political science, then at the law faculty, of theAnkara University. He graduated from theInstitute of Public Administration, and from theNancy-Université in France.[2]
In 1970, Güney participated to the first special session of theCommission on Narcotic Drugs, and to the 28thHuman rights commission in 1971.[3]
Mehmet Güney was married and has three children.[3]
