Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) is astate-levelalliance in theMeghalaya Legislative Assembly led byNational People's Party.[1][2][3]The Post-Poll Alliance won majority in2018 Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election but did not contest unitedly in2023 Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election asNPP decided to go solo.[4] Other parties also declared to contest alone or in small regional alliance in one or more constituencies.[5] Despite this, the MDA formed government with a majority through post poll alliance.
