Mazagway (Musgoy; also known as Mazagway-Hidi) is aChadic language spoken inCameroon, inNorth Province andFar North Province. Blench (2006) classifies it as a dialect ofDaba.[2]
Mazagway or Mazagway Hidi is spoken in theMousgoy region in the northern part ofGuider commune (Mayo-Louti department, North Region) and in the south of the commune ofHina (Mayo-Tsanaga, Far North Region). It is closely related toDaba, which was formerly considered to be a dialect of Mazagway.[3]
