Jean Adelard Mayanga Maku (born 31 October 1948) is aCongolese formerfootballer who played as aforward forZaire in the1974 FIFA World Cup.[2] He also played forAS Vita Club.
Mayanga scored three goals for Zaire at the1972 African Cup of Nations finals.[3] He represented Zaire in international competition as late as 1979, appearing in a1980 African Cup of Nations qualifying match versusGuinea inKinshasa.[4]
In 2006, he was selected byCAF as one of the best 200 African football players of the last 50 years.[5]
