Maximino León Molina (born February 4, 1950) is a Mexican formerpitcher inMajor League Baseball who played from1973 through1978 for theAtlanta Braves. Listed at 5' 10", 145 lb., he batted and threwright-handed.
In a six-season MLB career, León posted a 14–18 record with 170strikeouts and a 3.71ERA in 162 appearances, including 13starts, twocomplete games, oneshutout, 13saves, and 310.1 innings of work.
León had an extensive career in theMexican League, playing for theCharros de Jalisco,Alacranes de Durango,Piratas de Campeche,Diablos Rojos del México,Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo, Tabasco,Leones de Yucatán andRieleros de Aguascalientes in theLiga Mexicana de Beisbol, and theNaranjeros de Hermosillo andTomateros de Culiacán in theMexican Pacific League. He was elected to the Mexican Baseball of Fame in 1997.
