Max Clark (born 3 October 1995) is a professionalrugby union player forNewcastle Falcons in thePremiership Rugby who plays atcentre.

Early life

Clark was born inBridgend to aWelsh mother andEnglish father.[1]

Club career

Clark made his league debut for Bath on 17 October 2015, in a win overExeter Chiefs, having previously played in theAnglo-Welsh Cup.[2]

In December 2016, Clark scored his firstAviva Premiership try in a victory againstSaracens.[3]

Ahead of the2022–23 United Rugby Championship, Clark joined Welsh clubDragons RFC.[4]

In July 2024, Clark joinedSaracens on a pre-season trial.[5]

He previously played forBath inPremiership Rugby.[6]

International career

Clark has represented England at Under-16 and Under-18 level.[1] Clark played for theEngland Under-20 side that finished runners up toNew Zealand in the final of the2015 Junior World Cup, scoring the opening try of the game.[7]

Clark turned down an approach fromWales to be a member of their 2017 summer tour.[1]
