Mauritius–South Africa relations refer tobilateral relations betweenMauritius andSouth Africa.

As both countries are members of theCommonwealth, the two countries are represented in each other'scapital byHigh Commissions, with Mauritius having one inPretoria andSouth Africa having one inPort Louis. Fulldiplomatic relations were established in 1994.[1]

Duringapartheid, Mauritius only maintained atrade mission inJohannesburg, the country's commercial capital.[2]

Trade

South Africa is one of Mauritius' largest trading partners.[3]
