Matthew James Cream (born 19 June 1975) is an Australianfootballreferee. He is the Referee Development Officer inSouth Australia.[2]

Cream was aFIFA internationalassistant referee between 2000–2021.[3] He accompaniedMatthew Breeze and fellow assistant refereeBen Wilson to the2009FIFA Confederations Cup inSouth Africa. Cream was selected as an assistant referee for the2012 London Olympic Games.Cream accompanied Ben Williams to the2014 FIFA World Cup and2014 FIFA Club World Cup. He also officiated at the2015 AFC Asian Cup along with fellow AustralianPaul Cetrangolo.

Cream has had numerousA-League Finals appointments in2009,2010,2012,2015,2016,2017,2018 and2021.
