Matteo Bruni (born 23 November 1976) is anItalian-British media professional who serves as director of theHoly See Press Office of theRoman Curia. He was appointed on 18 July 2019 byPope Francis, succeedingGreg Burke.[1] He is the first non-journalist to hold the office.[2]

He joined theHoly See Press Office in 2009 to manage journalist accreditations. In 2013, he became responsible for communications duringpapal travels.
