Matt Bunch is anAmericanRepublican politician currently serving in theOregon House of Representatives. He represents the51st district, located in centralClackamas County.
Bunch has works as a school bus driver in Oregon City[1] and owns a small insurance business.[2] He has primarily worked in insurance as well as working as development director for the OregonFFA Foundation.
He serves as president of theClackamas County Fair Board and the associate director of theClackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District and formerly served as president of the Clackamas County Farm Bureau.[3]
Bunch ran for the Oregon House of Representatives in 2024, but ultimately dropped out of the primary afterChristine Drazan announced her candidacy.[4] He was later unanimously appointed by theClackamas County Commission to finish Drazan's term in the House on November 17, 2025, beating out realtor and former county commission candidate Dana Hindman-Allen and formerSandy Mayor Carl Exner.[5]
Bunch is fromBaker, Oregon and attendedBurnt River High School inUnity andOregon State University inCorvallis.[6] He was a member of thePhi Kappa Psi fraternity. He is aKnight of Columbus.
