Matías Daniel Campos Toro (Spanish pronunciation:[maˈtiasˈkamposˈtoro], born 22 June 1989), known asMatías Campos Toro,[1] is a Chilean formerfootballer who played asleft midfielder orleft back.

International career

Along with Chile U18 he won the 2008 João Havelange Tournament,[2] scoring in the last game.[3] At senior level, he made six appearances and scored a goal.[4]

He is usually named by his two last names,Campos Toro, to make a difference with his namesakeMatías Campos López. Both players were withAudax Italiano in his early career and played forUniversidad de Chile.[1]

In 2021, Campos Toro was a candidate to councillor forLa Florida commune supported byIndependent Democratic Union.[5]
