Masato Kamino (神野聖人,Kamino Masato) is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler currently performing in the Japanese promotionPro-Wrestling Basara where he is a formerIron Fist Tag Team Champion.[3]
Kamino made hisprofessional wrestling debut inDDT Pro-Wrestling atDDT Beer Garden Fight 2017 on August 5, where he teamed up with Rekka in a losing effort against Gran MilliMeters (Daiki Shimomura andNobuhiro Shimatani) in tag team competition.[4]
He competed in various signature events of the promotion such as theDDT Peter Pan branch of events, in which he made his first appearance at the2017 edition from August 20, where he teamed up withTomomitsu Matsunaga,Hoshitango and Nobuhiro Shimatani in a losing effort againstMizuki Watase, Rekka,Diego andDaiki Shimomura.[5] In theDDT Judgement branch, Kamino made his first appearance at the2019 edition from February 17, where he teamed up with Takato Nakano in a losing effort against Sento Minzoku (Ryuichi Sekine andDaiki Shimomura).[6] AtUltimate Party 2019 on November 3, Kamino teamed up with Daichi Kazato and Shuhei Washida to defeat Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Mizuki Watase andKeigo Nakamura.[7]
Kamino competed inPro-Wrestling Basara sincer 2018, by the time the promotion was still under DDT's jurisdiction. On June 11, 2019, it was announced Basara would be splitting up from DDT and become an independent company starting January 1, 2020.[8] Kamino alongside various of the time's DDT roster members transferred to the newly independent Basara.[9]
In Basara, Kamino mainly competes as a tag team wrestler alongside his long time "Aijin Tag" team partnerTakato Nakano. They won theIron Fist Tag Team Championship on two separate occasions. First atBasara 199: Kō on September 6, 2022, by defeating Speed of Sounds (Banana Senga andTsutomu Oosugi),[10] and secondly atBasara 211: Oji No Kitsune 24 on February 18, 2023, by defeating Sento Minzoku (Isami Kodaka and Daiki Shimomura).[11] AtBasara 244 ~ Utage on March 19, 2024, Kamino unsuccessfully challengedMinoru Fujita for theUnion Max Championship.[12]
Kamino shared a stint tenure withAll Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). He made his debut in the 2021 edition of theAJPW Junior Tag League where he competed alongside "Aijin Tag" team partner Takato Nakano. They fell short to Total Eclipse (Hokuto Omori andYusuke Kodama) in the first rounds.[13] Several weeks later atAJPW Excite Series 2022 on February 17, Kamino and Nakano unsuccessfully challenged Omori and Kodama for theAll Asia Tag Team Championship.[14]
Kamino also regularly competes inGleat. He made his debut atGLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 20 on March 23, 2022, where he teamed up with TiiiDA in a losing effort againstLeo Isaka and Yu Iizuka.[15] AtGLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 38 on November 19, 2022, Kamino teamed up withTakanori Ito and unsuccessfully challgned reigning champions Bulk Orchestra (Check Shimatani andHayato Tamura), and Strong Hearts (Shigehiro Irie andT-Hawk) for the interimG-Infinity Championship.[16] AtGLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 64 ~ Burn Your Heart on November 12, 2023, Kamino unsuccessfully challenged T-Hawk for theG-Rex Championship.[17]
In Gleat, Kamino was part of the Yan's Family unit founded byKaz Hayashi between 2023 and 2024.[18]
