Marvdasht County (Persian :شهرستان مرودشت ) is inFars province, Iran. Its capital is the city ofMarvdasht .[ 3]
After the 2006 National Census, the village of Kushkak rose to city status asRamjerd .[ 4] Kamfiruz-e Shomali Rural District was separated fromKamfiruz District in the formation ofKor District ,[ a] Garmeh Rural District .[ 6]
After the 2011 census, the village ofKhaniman was elevated to the status of a city.[ 7] Faruq ,[ 8] Fathabad ,[ 9] Zangiabad [ 10]
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 294,621 in 69,244 households.[ 11] [ 12] [ 2]
