William Martin Moore (born March 19, 1971) is an American former professionalfootball player who was alinebacker for eight seasons in theNational Football League (NFL) for theNew England Patriots andCleveland Browns. Moore was the firstMr. Irrelevant ever to play in aSuper Bowl,Super Bowl XXXI, with the Patriots.[1] He also became the first Mr. Irrelevant to win a Super Bowl inSuper Bowl XXXVI, also with the Patriots.[2]
Moore played high school football for Highlands High inFort Thomas, Kentucky, and college football for theKentucky Wildcats, playing in the1993Peach Bowl and becoming the final pick in the1994 NFL draft after his senior season.[3]
