Martine De Mazière (born 1960)[1] is a Belgianatmospheric scientist known for her work inatmospheric satellite observations. She is director general ad interim of theBelgian Institute for Space Aeronomy.[2]
Asteroid9641 Demazière was named after De Mazière in 1999.[3] She was elected to theRoyal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts in 2011.[4]
