Martin Danggo

Martin M. Danggo is an Indian politician from the state ofMeghalaya who served as the Minister of Public Works Department (Roads) in theGovernment of Meghalaya, and represented the 35th RanikorScheduled Tribe (ST) constituency in theSouth West Khasi Hills district in theMeghalaya Legislative Assembly.[1] Danggo was first elected to the Assembly as a representative of thePeople's Democratic Movement (PDM) in the1998 Assembly election for the Langrin (ST) constituency.[2] He switched parties to theIndian National Congress and was re-elected in 2003.[3] In 2018 he resigned from the INC and joined theNational People's Party.[4]
