Martin Bojowald (born 18 February 1973 inJülich) is a Germanphysicist who now works on the faculty of thePenn State Physics Department,^[1] where he is a member of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos.^[2] Prior to joining Penn State he spent several years at theMax Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics^[3] inPotsdam,Germany. He works onloop quantum gravity andphysical cosmology and is credited with establishing the sub-field ofloop quantum cosmology.
