Martin Bojowald (born 18 February 1973 inJülich) is a Germanphysicist who now works on the faculty of thePenn State Physics Department,[1] where he is a member of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos.[2] Prior to joining Penn State he spent several years at theMax Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics[3] inPotsdam,Germany. He works onloop quantum gravity andphysical cosmology and is credited with establishing the sub-field ofloop quantum cosmology.
