Mark Rattelle (born March 1, 1983) is an Americanprofessional wrestler andmanager. He is signed toAll Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under thering name"Smart" Mark Sterling as the manager of The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese,Ariya Daivari andJosh Woods). He also makes appearances for AEW's sister companyRing of Honor (ROH) and performing toindependent circuit.

Professional wrestling career

Rattelle was trained by Kevin Landry,Brian Myers, and Pat Buck at the Create-A-Pro Academy. He made his debut forAll Elite Wrestling during the August 22, 2020 episode ofDynamite, where he portrayed alawyer supportingMJF. He was defeated in a match againstJon Moxley on September 2, 2020.[1]

On May 28, 2021, he offered his services toJade Cargill and her stable 'The Baddies' with him regularly accompanying Cargill to the ring until being replaced byStokely Hathaway in May 2022.[2][3] He became aligned withTony Nese upon his debut for the company in December 2021. At the Buy in forDouble or Nothing (2022), he teamed with Nese in a losing effort againstDanhausen andHook.[4] On July 27, 2022 atFight for the Fallen, he again teamed with Nese, losing toSwerve Strickland.[5]

Rattelle is close friends withMatt Cardona andBrian Myers, and produces theMajor Wrestling Figure Podcast alongside them.[6]
