Marion Mets

American minor league baseball team

TheMarion Mets were a minor leaguebaseball team based inMarion, Virginia that played in theAppalachian League from 1965 to 1976. They were affiliated with theNew York Mets and played their home games at theMarion High School baseball field. Hall of Fame pitcherNolan Ryan pitched for the team in 1965.[citation needed]
