Mario S. Tiziani (born July 17, 1970) is an Americanprofessional golfer.
Tiziani was born inIronwood, Michigan. Playing golf for theWisconsin Badgers, he wasBig Ten Conference freshman of the year.[1]
On his 12th attempt, Tiziani qualified for thePGA Tour.[1] In his only full season on the PGA Tour in 2005, his best finish was T-12 at theSouthern Farm Bureau Classic. He played full-time on theNationwide Tour in 2006 and 2007, but his best result came in 2005 – tied for second at theLaSalle Bank Open.
On theCanadian Tour, he won the 2003 Northern Ontario Open and also won the 2002Panama Open, an unofficial event.[2]
He also won the 2002Wisconsin State Open.[3]
He is brother-in-law to pro golferSteve Stricker and son ofDennis Tiziani.[1]
