TheMarch 84C is aopen-wheelrace car built byMarch Engineering, to compete in the1984 IndyCar season. The car was just as successful as its predecessor theMarch 83C, as it clinched the1984 Constructors' Championship, and the1984 Indianapolis 500 withRick Mears, with a total 10 wins and 8 pole positions out of 16 races. The 84C was powered by theFord-Cosworth DFX turbo V8 engine, but also occasionally used theBuick Indy V6 engine.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
