Marcelo Castelo Veiga (7 October 1964 – 14 December 2020), commonly known asMarcelo Veiga, was a Brazilian professionalfootballmanager and player.
Veiga enjoyed a seven-year spell inSérie A as a player, after representingSantos,Internacional,Goiás,Bahia andPortuguesa. As a manager, his career was mainly associated withBragantino.[1]
Veiga died on 14 December 2020, aged 56 inBragança Paulista, after complications fromCOVID-19 during theCOVID-19 pandemic in São Paulo. He was the manager ofSão Bernardo.[2]
