Maray Qalla (Quechuamaran,maraybatan orgrindstone,maray to tear down, to knock down,qalla carved stone, cobblestone; circular spindle disk; cheek,[1][2] also spelledMaraycalla, Maraycalle) is an archaeological site inPeru. It is situated in theAncash Region,Carlos Fermín Fitzcarrald Province. Maray Qalla lies at a section of theQhapaq Ñan, the Inca road system.[3][4]
