María del Rocío García Olmedo (born 30 April 1957) is a Mexican politician affiliated with theInstitutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

In the2012 general election she was elected to theChamber of Deputies to representPuebla's13th district during the62nd session ofCongress.[1]

In 2018, as a member of theCongress of Puebla, she presented a draft amendment to the state's civil code to allowsame-sex marriage in the state.[2] Puebla ultimately legalised same-sex marriage in November 2020.[3]
