Manon Rasmussen (born 2 August 1951) is a Danishcostume designer .[ 1]
Initially studying acting, from 1974–1975 Rasmussen was a member of Solvognen (English:Sun Chariot ) theatre group.[ 1] [ 2] tailoring at Københavns Tilskærerakademi, where she specialised in theatre costume.[ 1] [ 2]
Rasmussen began her career selling clothes at Elverhøj craft store and collective.[ 1] [ 2] Anders Refn 'sThe Heritage (Danish :Slægten ), awakening her interest forhistorical drama .[ 1] [ 2] [ 3]
Rasmussen is well known for collaborating withLars von Trier ,Thomas Vinterberg ,Bille August ,Susanne Bier ,Christoffer Boe . Beginning with 1982'sImages of Liberation Medea The Idiots
