Manastirec (Macedonian:Манастирец) is avillage in themunicipality ofRosoman,North Macedonia.
According to the statistics of theBulgarian ethnographerVasil Kanchov from 1900, 188 inhabitants lived in Manastirec, 116Christian Bulgarians and 72Muslim Bulgarians.[1] On the 1927 ethnic map ofLeonhard Schulze-Jena, the village is written as "Monastirče" and shown as having a mixed population ofBulgarians andMuslim Bulgarians.[2] According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 321 inhabitants.[3] Ethnic groups in the village include:[3]
