Mallur railway station (station code: MALR) is an NSG–6 categoryIndian railway station inSalem railway division ofSouthern Railway zone.[1] It is a railway station situated inMallur,Salem district in the Indian state ofTamil Nadu.[2] The station is an intermediate station on the newly commissionedSalem JunctionKarur Junction line which became operational in May 2013.[3] The station is operated by theSouthern Railway zone of theIndian Railways and comes under theSalem railway division.
