Malcolm Connor Tarver (September 25, 1885 – March 5, 1960) was aU.S. Representative fromGeorgia.

Born inRural Vale, Georgia, Tarver attended the public schools.He was graduated from the law department ofMercer University,Macon, Georgia, in 1904.He wasadmitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice inDalton, Georgia.He served as member of the State house of representatives 1909-1912.He served in the State senate in 1913 and 1914.He served as judge of the superior courts,Cherokee Circuit, Georgia from 1917 to 1927.

Tarver was elected as aDemocrat to theSeventieth and to the nine succeeding Congresses (March 4, 1927 – January 3, 1947).He was one of the managers appointed by the House of Representatives in 1933 to conduct the impeachment proceedings againstHarold Louderback, judge of theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of California.He was an unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1946.He resumed the practice of law.He died inDalton, Georgia, March 5, 1960.He was interred in West Hill Cemetery.
