Maksim Igorevich Shevchenko (Russian:Максим Игоревич Шевченко; born 27 March 1980) is a Kazakhstani professionalfootball coach and former player. He works as a deputy director at the academy of the Russian clubLokomotiv Moscow. He also holdsRussian citizenship.
Shevchenko made his professional debut in theRussian Premier League in 1997 forKAMAZ-Chally Naberezhnye Chelny.[2] He played as amidfielder. Shevchenko played 2 games in the2001–02 UEFA Cup forChernomorets Novorossiysk.
