Makis Katsavakis (Greek:Μάκης Κατσαβάκης; born 26 December 1953) is a Greek professionalfootballmanager and former player.
Born in Peponia,Serres, Katsavakis began playing football as adefender for localAlpha Ethniki sidePanserraikos In 1977 heOlympiacos in 1977.[1] He finished his career withKorinthos in 1982.[2]
After he retired from playing, Katsavakis became a football coach. He was appointed manager byEdessaikos in 1992. He managed several Greek clubs over the following years, includingVeria,PAS Giannina,Panionios,Paniliakos,Olympiakos Volos,Panserraikos,Aris,Levadiakos,Apollon Kalamarias,Iraklis andDoxa Drama. He also managed Cypriot sideAEK Larnaca.
