Majhwar is a poorly-attestedMunda language, apparently related to or a dialect ofAsuri,[2] spoken in northernChhattisgarh andSonbhadra district ofUttar Pradesh by the Majhwar tribe.

Today all Majhwars record their mother tongue as Indo-Aryan languages likeChhattisgarhi,Surgujia andSadri.[3]
