Makhmud Gurbanov (Azerbaijani:Mahmud Qurbanov; born 10 May 1973) is afootballmidfielder fromAzerbaijan. He has won Azerbaijani championship record 12 times with six different teams.[1]
He started his career inFC Kapaz, and has since played forPFC Neftchi, Kapaz (second spell) andFK Shamkir before he played abroad with Iranian teamFoolad FC and Ukrainian teamFC Tavriya Simferopol. He later rejoinedPFC Neftchi. He then signed withFC Inter Baku, where he played until he joinedSumgayit FC.[2]
