Magdalena Adriaantje (Magda) Berndsen-Jansen (born 4 May 1950) is a Dutch formerpolitician andpolice officer, born inLeiden. As a member ofDemocrats 66 (D66) she was a member ofHouse of Representatives of the Netherlands between 17 June 2010 and 1 November 2015. She focused on matters ofsafety,judiciary andpolice.[1] She was replaced byJudith Swinkels.[2]
Berndsen wasmayor ofObdam andBeverwijk, and acting mayor ofSúdwest-Fryslân andDongeradeel, and alsocorps chief ofGooi en Vechtstreek Police andFriesland Police.
